I first found yoga 9 years ago after attending a Vinyasa class at my local leisure centre in London. I was initially drawn to yoga to numb the pain after a heartbreaking split, but very quickly developed an emotional, mental and spiritual connection between mind and body which allowed me to truly feel.
I am influenced by my background as an art teacher and artist, and this feeds into my teaching through creative theming and sequencing. I teach from a place of compassion, playfulness and intention, and always encourage students to listen to their bodies and connect with their own practice. I believe that yoga should be accessible to and inclusive of all bodies and ability levels and ensure that I incorporate options to soften and deepen, allowing students to feel held in a nurturing and safe space
I gained my 200 hr Ashtanga and Vinyasa yoga teaching qualification at Sampoorna Yoga, Goa, in November 2018. I completed my 50 hr Yin training in Melbourne with Hugh Lee in December 2019. I am so excited to share the magic of yoga practice on and off the mat, and I hope to assist you in your journey towards ānanda [bliss].
