I am influenced by my background as an art teacher and artist, and this feeds into my teaching through creative theming and sequencing. I teach from a place of compassion, playfulness and intention, and always encourage students to listen to their bodies and connect with their own practice. I believe that yoga should be accessible to and inclusive of all bodies and ability levels and ensure that I incorporate options to soften and deepen, allowing students to feel held in a nurturing and safe space
I acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land that I live, love and work upon, and their connections to land, sea, community and culture. I offer my deepest respects to Elders past, present and emerging, and extend this respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
